As a foundation that values the importance of giving back to the community, the G.G.A. Gunasena Foundation was thrilled to host its fifth annual Vesak Day Dansal with Ice Cream on May 11, 2017. This event was a momentous occasion for us, as it allowed us to come together with the community to celebrate Vesak Day, a time for reflection and gratitude.
The Vesak Day Dansal provides an opportunity for people to come together and enjoy the simple pleasures of life, such as sharing a meal and enjoying a sweet treat. We were delighted to see the community come out in full force to partake in this joyous occasion. With the help of our dedicated volunteers, we were able to offer ice cream flavors to suit everyone’s preferences. The delicious vanilla ice cream, in particular, was a hit among the attendees, with its cool and refreshing taste.
